Real Authentic hand painted Geniuine Papyrus , Anubis Shrine , Signed by Artist

Hand-painted on genuine Egyptian papyrus and signed by the artist, this artwork portrays Anubis as a reclining black jackal atop an ornate shrine. Black, gold and warm reddish-orange tones highlight the detailed decoration, while the natural papyrus fibres give the painting its distinctive texture.

The Story Behind the Image

Anubis was the ancient Egyptian god of embalming and protector of the deceased. This design is inspired by the Anubis shrine discovered in King Tutankhamun’s tomb, where the watchful jackal stood guard over the royal treasury. His alert ears and resting posture convey vigilance, reflecting his protective role in the journey to the afterlife.

A meaningful piece for admirers of Egyptian mythology, ancient history and traditional Egyptian art.
